The objective of this WP is to ensure compliance with the ethics requirements and lay the foundation for handling of the research data lifecycle for the duration of the project through the Data Management Plan (DMP).
This work package package ensures that data management obligations are fulfilled and outlines mandatory ethics requirements aligning with the EU AI Act. Compliance is ensured through specific deliverables. At month six, the consortium will conduct a Trustworthy AI self-assessment, parallel to all AI development, and use within CEREBRIS.
The assessment evaluates adherence to seven core Trustworthy AI principles: human agency and oversight, technical robustness and safety, privacy and data governance, transparency, diversity, non-discrimination and fairness, environmental and societal well-being, and accountability. These criteria guide the project's ethical standards throughout its lifecycle.
